Thank you for visiting and welcome to Osgodby Village Council's Website

Our beautiful village of Osgodby is situated just south of the town of Scarborough in North Yorkshire, England, adjoining the stunning and dramatic North Yorkshire Heritage Coast.

The Council is here to serve all parishioners and we hope you will contact any of us on any issue affecting the parish. We will do whatever is within our power to resolve any matters raised. Please feel free to come along to our meetings in the Poachers on Osgodby Lane. Our meetings are held at 7:30 pm on the first Tuesday in each month (except for August due to Council recess).

Osgodby Village Council is pleased to announce that it was accredited with Quality Council Status on 23rd March 2007 and re-accredited in July 2011. In 2005 the Council celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Please visit the Parish Council page to see how the Council began.

Please note that Parish Councillors' Coffee Mornings will be held at the Community Centre on Osgodby Lane between 10 am and 11:30 am on 4 February, 31March, 2 June, 1 September and 23 November in 2012 - please come along - you will be most welcome to discuss any matter with our Councillors over a free cup of tea or coffee.

We hope you find the website informative and we welcome your comments and views.
